As soon as I walked into this place...wow! Getting shoved by a drunk sorority girl=good times. The way they charge $5.00 for a "shot" in a tiny Dixie cup, amazing! The hostile people and the not so friendly bartenders are a real plus. How this place isn't known worldwide really blows my mind. What a place.
Showed up in a pair of nice shoes, blue jeans and a grey v neck and they wouldn't let me in because I didn't have a stupid graphic on my T-shirt. Came back the second time wearing some stupid graphic tee and the service and the atmosphere was garbage. I'm glad I didn't get in the first time because it saved me from a horrible evening. If you are ever in Kalamazoo or looking for a drink, go anywhere but here.
I am disappointed that I can't put anything lower that a 1 star rating. Was dirty and the staff was very rude. Will probably not come back anytime soon.
I've never eaten here but have come for drinks many times. I enjoy the atmosphere and find the live entertainment to be fun. I've had great service as far as getting drinks and never really had any other issues. I really enjoy this place in the summer when District Square is open because then we usually end up walking between the outside and inside bars. Overall great environment for a group of friends and great service!
Completely can NOT believe what happened when i went to this bar. I know they thought I was just some dumb drunk girl but i deserved more respect than that! I was attacked by a girl for merely saying why are you being rude. The security came and picked me and Kari Schmidt off the ground and said we were kicked out.. once again for no reason. I stated that i needed to find my stuff including my wallet and they refused me the right to do so. As a result my wallet was stolen. My debit card, id and my best friend Karis Coates id were both stolen. I am supposed to fly home one monday and now have NO way to do so since i am a san diego resident without any form of id out here in Michigan. DO NOT go to this bar they have NO respect for their customers and do not even know what the word ethical even stands for.
