Fantastic Pub! Always great service, food and entertainment! There dailey specials are always reasonable in o price and they have the best steaks in the area! You have to check out the patio!
Nice pub for the area
I don't usually post reviews but I'm doing this in the hopes management sees it...A girlfriend and I spent a Wedneday evening in Dundee for a 'girls night out' and thought we'd try this place since we'd never been there. It was clean enough, but the sign on the door said they were only open until 10 PM so we asked if we missed last call (having arrived at 9 PM). The waitress said we could get drinks, but the kitchen was closed. We said that was cool and only came for drinks anyway. So we headed over to play pool. We racked the balls, No waitress; no drinks. We started playing. No waitress; no drinks. Another table that came in about 5 minutes later and 5 feet away from us got their drink order immediately. WTF! We ended up FINISHING our game and still no waitress; no drinks! A half hour later, and not a single soul came by to take an order? The name of the place is Thirsty's because if you go there, you leave thirsty. I could see if this place was extra busy, but it wasn't. Two waitresses and a bartender could see us in plain sight, but no one took an order from us. I really do hope the manager sees this post because their business only ended up getting $.75 from us when they could of made a helluva lot more that night. I'd suggest they tell their wait staff they need to cater to everyone who walks in their door, and not just 'the familiar locals'. I can't believe that, in a recession, they would toss off customers like this.
They have great bands on Fri & Sat Plus and on Sunday they have an Open-mic that really is a good time! Sunday is the best night in my opinion! The house band THE POORE BOYZ are really good, and they get a wide variety of musicians that show up to just have a good time. If you weekend still isn't done or your just looking from something to do on a Sunday, Thirsty's is the only place in town that has it going on!!!
