I'm a local and have been going to this bar for 20 years (very occasionally). In the last year or two, I have found the good to be great and prices reasonable. The club sandwich is the best in town. However, the service and wait staff is primarily terrible. A waitress named Joann is the one you want - she's awesome, but the rest of the girls are snotty and rude. I definitely recommend the BB for food, but if Joann's not working, expect to irritated enough to pay without leaving a tip!
Best burger in Northern Michigan! Sandwiches and mexican are also great. Prices are reasonable.
I am a local. I think the food has improved over the years. It is a locals place, dependable, not trendy. Service is sort of like you would expect. Waitresses are fine for the place. I go there about once a week. Always okay.
