Always great food and service. The onions rings were my favorite appetizer.... until I tried the bacon wrapped scallops. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner the food is always great! Pittsfield is lucky to have such a great restaurant!
This place is wonderful! If you are near Pittsfield, you should stop. Vittles is very homey, nice, the food was excellent and abundant. I can not say enough nice things. All of our family of five gave it two thumbs up. We are going to make it a frequent dining place.
I occasionally take out-of-town clients to Vittles, and they are thoroughly impressed by the quality of food available in downtown Pittsfield. Rick is an excellent chef, and Bob does everything he can to make his patrons feel welcomed and appreciated. Pittsfield is fortunate to have Vittles in its downtown.
Hands down the best steak I have had in years. Try the homemade ice cream, you will go back every chance you get.
I ate the local "cow burger" last night with Top of Maine beef, cheese from Balfour Farm, and Snakeroot spinach and onions. It was without a doubt the best burger I've ever eaten in my life. No exaggeration.
