Fantastic food, fantastic staff, and *awesome* atmosphere (glowing Garfield & pumpkin decorations = how do you beat that) make this a place worth checking out. Save room for the chocolate cake. As a dessert fiend, I will tell you it's among the best I've ever had.
Just happened to spot this great restaurant after stopping in Hallowell for lunch on the way through. The menu sounded delicious and the place looked nice so we gave it a shot. Service was top notch and the food was just delicious. We ordered an appetizer as well as entrees and everything tasted great. The outdoor seating with a view of the water made it even better.
All of the food we ordered was delicious, the outside seating overlooking the river was beautiful and the service was great. What more can you want from a restaurant? The prices were above average but well worth the cost.
Our first visit was a pleasant surprise. We loved the atmosphere, our waitress was very friendly and the food was absolutely superb. The prices were a bit above average for Central Maine, but worth every penny! We will be back for sure.
