The Red Barn
Reviews
The Red Barn Serving Augusta, Maine. We’re heading back from Maine to Maryland on a road trip and after research good lobster places around Google map lead us The Red Barn. The lobster rolls were tasty and very delicious. The restaurant is clearly involved in it local community and was obviously very popular with the locals as it was packed. I will definitely add this to my itinerary if I ever visit Maine again.n. Highly recommended!!!
Their chicken and fried seafood is amazing!!! Dont forget the chowdah!!!!
First time at Red Barn. Best and fastest service I have ever seen. Great place for my 25th Anniversary lunch. Thank you
Awesome. Stopped by on the way back from Acadia. Fast and furious service with all sorts of people making sure we werentaken care of. Top it off with $1 soft serve special. Nice.
We stopped in at 11:30 and the lot was full. Counter service was courteous and friendly. I ordered the pint of scallops, and the wife got the lobstah roll. The scallops were perfectly fried, fresh, juicy and tender...yummm! The lobstah roll had chunks of claw and tail, and was fresh and delish. I don't eat much fried food, because it's so addictive, but I'd guess most of their other customers do. I'm carrying an extra 20 pounds, and I looked skinny compared to all but a couple of "right sized " people. When I think about the health epidemic in our country, it's obvious this delicious food- overdone, is a big reason. I'll bet my scallops were 1500 calories. Love the flavors, and the people, but Americans-we need to scale down our waistlines! This place opens from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m....that's it.
