My family and I recently discovered this little gem in Waldorf and I must say it is now one of our favorite places to eat. The service was fantastic and the staff was friendly, helpful and very patient with us. They even customized a dish for my 7th month old so that she could enjoy their delicious food. Check it out if you are in the area.
They are closed for good. Nobody answers the phone (disconnected), showed up to eat and there's nobody there. Thought we'd try it since it was on Groupon. Nice Thai place in the same shopping area!
I enjoyed the food, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing the Groupon deal for the restaurant. They add on a 18% gratuity with no notice. The Groupon doesn't state anything about this nor do the servers tell you about this charge. The Greek salad is excellent, as well as the wings and Brasas rolls.
Love it at first, went back for a second sitting utilizing Groupon, what a mistake. Once I attempt to use Groupon, things went down hill, the manager came out as I refused to pay an extra 20 percent. The manager stated that they have it posted on the outside concerning the 20% charge for Groupon, of course there were no such sign. I again stated that I wanted the charge removed, the manager went into the long story about how they are losing money with Groupon, I told her that is between them and Groupon. The manager told me that she would remove the charge, but my wife and I were not to come back to the restaurant. Go but don't use Groupon and if you do, be ready to be treated like a third class patron.
I took my wife here for her birthday and we had a ball. We had a fairly large group of people with us and the owner met us at the door and introduced herself and made it a memorable night. The food was outstanding and different. It was something we had been longing for, for years. We can't wait to go back and next time actually try the rotisserie chicken. : )
