We have always had a great experience at Sand Springs. Our favorite on the menu is the Wrangler which is a marinated (Black Diamond) Steak. Never have we had unchewable pieces that you find in most steaks. Always cooked great! Only negative thing is parking, but the rest is great. Waiters and waitresses have always been courteous and efficient to us.
I am quite shocked at the negative reviews! I have never gone there and had bad food. My husband and I love their steak, grilled shrimp and their cornbread. I love their caesar salad. Sometimes the wait staff gets a little too busy but I have never had bad service there. It is definitely the best place to eat in the area. We have a group of 16 going tonight! :) One word of advice if you are going in the evening it is best to make a reservation. Dinner service is usually pretty busy.
Very poor service. The employees were not friendly or professional The waiter only came by twice and another waitress actually brought our food. The food was cold, dry, and overcooked. Definitely will not return. Was looking for the manager, but no one seemed to be around. We will not be returning.
I and my family have eaten here a few times and have really enjoyed it. We are a local family, and this is a nice place to go to get something good and different to eat. They have a wonderful price range, and the food is good quality for a reasonable price. It's not expensive until you start thinking expensive foods, such as steaks and ribs. As long as you go during the lunch or afternoon time, you will not wait very long for your food. The dinner hours are usually very busy, as you would expect, and cause you to have to wait a little longer than you might like to. But hey, it's fresh, made-to-order foods: not a microwaved McDonalds burger. The only complaint we have about Sandspings is the issue of drinks. We have been there two times and both times they only filled our drinks twice. We would like to see this changed, and it would make the dining experience four or five stars instead of three. The atmosphere is friendly and the restaurant is clean. The food is yummy and reasonably priced. We will go here again and again.
Best crab dip ever! We've never had a bad meal here - excellent food and service!
