Vanessa is amazing! Wings was not filmed here. She does not know Tom and Tom from Nantucket Nectars. She did go to school with "The Heart of the Sea" author's daughter. The chowdah is wicked!
This has always been one of our favorites on the island. Their chowder is the best! However, this year we noticed the obvious smaller portions for the same price. Fancy new plates and bowls equals smaller portions. You used to be able to make a meal out of the soup and an appetizer. The soup "bowl" is now the equivalent of a soup cup. We also ordered shrimp scampi...same size bowl so, we are talking a kids portion. A $5 side salad consisted of a handful of lettuce with a few additions. Sorry to say this is off the list of favorites...........Now just another rip-off.
Don't waste your time. Ribs were chewy, fried were cold and the service was non-existent. You can do MUCH better than this dump
Really great food, and not priced too bad. I really enjoyed their twist on the grilled cheese sandwich with a giant cup of chili on the side!
The food is quite affordable and delicious. Best burgers in town other than Languedoc downstairs. It's also a locals hangout place. Loved the music also.
