Lola 41
Reviews
One of my favorite restaurants. Sushi is great, and the truffle french fries are the best. The lola burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had. Overall, its pricey and crowded, but the food is excellent. The service can be slow sometimes and the sushi bar gets very backed up, but they work hard to keep up with the busy crowd.
Grossly overpriced. 2 sushi rolls and 2 sangrias for $85! They can get away with it on ACK, but it's ridiculous. Difficult to get a seat unless you offer a hefty tip to the hostess. We learned our lesson after 3 visits here. Shame on us - and them.
This place is so Overrated! The thinly sliced Rib eye is flavorless! The Eel Roll has no eel in it. The service was excellent until I brought this to the attention of my waiter and no one bothered to visit my table and waiter ignored us after I mentioned it. I think they think they are so great that they don't know what to do when they're told otherwise. I also wrote the management before posting hoping for an apology but no response received.
We had an early dinner at Lo La 41 - early enough that most of the wait staff was hanging around outside when we arrived, which was a bit odd. I thought the food was a bit pricy for the portion size, but the service was prompt. The bolognese was reasonable, the mac & cheese was pretty good.
Overpriced, waiter did not alert us of the daily sushi specials and was unapologetic when we voiced our frustrations as we would have ordered the sushi special if we were properly informed.
