good fresh food and nice microbrew selection.
Never have been disappointed, great food!
Went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The business was busy but we were seated promptly and the server quickly took our drink orders. I ordered the Mustang Burger (burger, cheddar cheese, bacon, fried onions, BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun) medium rare with home cut fries. The burger was cooked on the rare side of medium rare. The bacon and onions were fine. The bun was undersized for the burger and made it hard to eat. The BBQ sauce did not seem to be home made. The fries were "Ok", not as crisp as I'd like them to be. They were slightly warm. My wife ordered a ham, cheddar, apple melt. The sandwich had bacon on it also which seemed unnecessary. My wife thought the sandwich would have been much improved if the apples were cooked slightly with cinnamon and sugar instead of raw. She also though the salt of the ham and bacon overpowered the apples and cooking them would have added the sweetness the sandwich lacked. She ordered the sweet potato fries and said they arrived cold. The atmosphere is nice and they have a wide selection of ales if you are into micro brew fare. I thought the prices might have been about 10% too high for lunches but I'm not aware of other similar local restaurants so they may be benefiting from the lack of competition. Would I go back? Yes, if in the area. Would I make a special trip there myself? Probably not.
good environment. tasty food went on a Wednesday for lunch
One of the best brew pubs that I have visited. Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere. A truly great place to go alone or with friends. Food was well prepared, reasonably priced, nice sized portions and presented well. The brews are changed up throughout the year, they are all good, fresh and delicious. Recommend this pub to any and all lovers of fine malted beverages and tasty snacks. Super recommend the 'Face Off IPA' if you are lucky enough to be there when it is on tap!!
