The past owner did spruce up the place. He renevated the orignal part as to keep the orgianlity of it which I think is great. He is keeping with the orginal tradition. The new addition is amazing. Stained concrete floors, oak wood bar and beautiful colors. Sadly it is now closed due to past convictions of the owner. I am looking into re-opening the place and bringing some life back into Ville Platte. I really hope the town supports me as a new owner. I have family that lives in Ville Platte and I was born and raised there. My biggest complaint about Ville Platte is that there is no place to go and nothing to do but the town doesn't support new ownership. So I really hope this goes well!!!
Disgusting food. My shrimp were burnt and my boyfriend's gumbo was still frozen in the middle. My "salad" was shredded taco lettuce with chunks of tomato, and I clearly asked for no tomatoes. The place is a complete joke. I will not be returning.
