Ruby Tuesday

Ordered a petite sirloin well done. When it came, it had a red center. Brought me another steak and it was very chewy. They did refund my money, but I will stick to Texas Roadhouse.
For a while we used to go there quite frequently (once-twice a week), simply because it is the only place in Somerset where one can find Prosecco. The ambiance is depressing, things don't look clean. The stuff really does let you know it's a chore for them to bother with you. The reason we stopped going there is because of the service. We've really had it with the place when the very annoyed-looking hostess of respectable age just couldn't care less to sit us, being too busy to explain the new hostess girl her work responsibilities (and setting such wonderful example for the new girl). We waited for her to find time for us for quite a while. When she finally descended to bother with us, we dared to request if we could be seated at the patio. She looked even more annoyed and answered that they "only do this sort of thing" for really big parties. We walked away and will not be back.
Ordered medium steak baked potato and steamed broccolli. got well done steak cold baked potato. Wouldn't even melt butter. Had to ask again for my broccoli. It was warm and raw. Not a good night for the cook.
Contrary to the Rudy Tues. web site this restaurant is in a dry county, no alcohol. It shows, a large portion of the income normally is from the bar. This store is not well maintained. A floor drain is used behind the bar rather than the sink. Not a good sign. Employees were carrying in food from Macs and DQ for their meal, not a good sign. Chairs at the bar were broken and still in use. Look up "liability" in a dictionary. Not a good sign. Counter surfaces were sticky, really needing a cleaning. I will not be back. Would not have stayed if not almost closing time and we were from out of town.
Great food!
