CiCi's Pizza
Reviews
Went to CiCi's Pizza at opening time (11:00 am) on 5/17/14. The doors were still locked, they didn't open until 11:05 am. We ordered 2 adult buffets and 2 large drinks. The buffet was $5.49 per person, not $5.00 as advertised, and the drinks were $2.49 per person, not $1.99 as advertised, plus the tax on everything...our total was over $17. When we asked about the advertised price, they said that the computer had control over it and they couldn't do anything about it. We got our plate to hit the buffet and the only thing we could eat was a salad...basically just lettuce and dressing...because the rest of the buffet was empty...and I want to note that as we were walking in, a 10 pizza to go order was leaving. You would think they would have to wait for their order and the buffet be filled, wouldn't you? When pizza was finally brought to the bar, approximately 20 people hit the buffet. When it came time for me to pick my selection, guess what, no pizza!!! I then decided to eat some pasta, but no pasta was available. I think we stayed there about 40 minutes and all we got to eat was our lettuce and dressing. I went up to the cashier and asked for a refund and told him to charge us for our drinks and salad, that we didn't get to enjoy the buffet. He refunded me $10.92, and then charged me over $6.00 for "pasta", which we didn't get to enjoy. So, basically, I paid approximately $14 for two small, measly salads and two drinks, which was a rip off. When we asked for a manager, we were told that managers don't work on Saturday. What place of business doesn't even provide a shift manager? I looked at my boyfriend and told him that if I was the manager, employee's would have to be there by 9:30 am, no later than 10:00 am to make sure the buffet was completely stocked and ready for business. We had crappy service, didn't get to enjoy the food we originally went for, basically wasted gas to drive 40 miles to go to CiCi's Pizza, and to beat it all, I noticed that even if the buffet was fully stocked, I couldn't have reached anything on the backside. Note to self: If I ever open a buffet, if the backside of the bar is too far out of reach, make sure it's a walk-around buffet. We will never be back!!!!
Nowhere close to as good as other Cici's :(. I really like going to all the Cici's pizza's that I can visit. I've ate at the Morehead, Lexington, Nicholasville, and Danville Cici's and Morehead's is defiantly the worst by far!! No specialty pizzas were out on the buffet and the place wasn't crowed and they weren't really keeping up. I also had to wait at the counter forever which is somewhat typical in a lot of the Cici's but here it was extra long!! You are going to get your money's worth no matter what Cici's you visit as nobody can beat $6 or 7 bucks for all the pizza, pasta, and desserts you can eat but when comparing the Morehead Cici's to the others it is garbage.
Need a place to feed a large group of kids without breaking the bank go here.
