Food is always delicious and the service is great!
We originally came downtown to show our Dad the Derby Clock. We had some time before the 'alleged' 3 o'clock running, so I ordered some hummus and the vegetable platter from Yafa Café. I learned from the young woman at the café that the clock hasn't run since last summer, so we were a bit disappointed, until we got the food. The food was fabulous! The platter included the tastiest falafel I have EVER had, and the baba ganoush was to die for - so smoky and lusciously smooth. We needed a second basket of pita to get every last bit off the plate, it was all so good. Even my Dad, who is 87 and has probably never eaten middle eastern food, loved it. The café made the trip totally worthwhile. (Could Louisville Tourism maybe update their web pages to let people know the clock is not running and is not likely to run again?)
Tea was great. Fair pricing. Great staff.
