Houlihan's

I came in with a girlfriend at about 9:30-10:00 pm on a Saturday evening. There were about 3-4 tables seated in the restaurant, we headed to the bar area to get a table. There were 5 empty tables full of dirty dishes scattered around the area and no servers, no bussers, nothing, and the rest were full. We stood waiting for one to get cleaned for about 10 mins before a server walked up and asked if he could help us. We said we were waiting for a table to be cleaned and his response was " yeah, that'll be awhile." Wow. Great service. We saw employees standing around by the kitchen chatting the whole time and apparently none could clean the table. We sat at the bar which had 2 other people at it and waited another 5-10 mins for the bartender to stop talking base ball with his buddy. He was friendly, he made us martini's from the menu, and they were disgusting. We were sitting at the bar about 45 mins, and in that time 2 of the tables had been cleared of dishes but not cleaned. I'm sorry, but that is the worst customer service I've ever had and frankly I'm not eating at a place that leaves dirty dishes on the table for an hour when the restaurant is basically empty, and can't clean the tables. We felt like they left the tables nasty so people wouldn't sit and they could get out of there, that or they are just very dirty. I usually go to a different Houlihan's and I love it, guess I'll go back there.
Service is usually pretty good. Patio is great on warm nights. Cool atmosphere. Chips and salsa are unexpectedly good. French dip is great!
I was so disappointed in our service and food at Houlihan's. My family and I went there to celebrate a wonderful occasion. The food came out cold, lettuce for the salads looked as though it was frozen, it was early in the evening and they had no more baked potatoes and didn't offer to comp for the item. Not certain if this restaurant has had a managerial change or what has happened, but I prefer the old menu and prices... absolutely out outrageously priced and not worth the money paid!!!
We love the spinach dip w lavosh and the baked potato soup. Everything is good!
Service was terrible. The new small plate menu is a huge rip-off. The children's menu is overpriced and the quality of the mac and cheese was not even up to Kraft standards. The $10 cheeseburger comes with about 12 fries and is one of the worst burgers I've eaten. Our total bill for 2 burgers and 2 kids meal with drink was over $40 with tip. Run, don't walk from ever considering eating here.
