We were a bit reluctant to try it, due to some reviews we read, but are so glad we did. The servers were excellent as was the food. The steak was done just right. One of the best dining experiences in a long time. Kudos to Sarah our server!
30 minutes to get a salad. Applebees salads come prepackaged. The excuse the waitress gave was that the salad chef stepped out. Another 30 minutes to get dinner. 3 of the 4 dishes were cold. If you like slow service and cold food, make a point to dine at the McPherson Applebees.
Got carside. $9 burger was smashed thin like a Freddy's burger. Bun was hard. Fries were gross. This Applebees used to be very good. Has gotten worse each time I've gone. I won't eat there again.

I always go back because the food is always good. It's that simple. I've usually had good service, the price can be low enough to make you wonder how they stay in business, and the restaurant itself is just fine. What more do you want for the price? And no, I don't work there. I just read a review saying the value wasn't good. 2 meals and an appetizer for $20 is too much for you?? Go to the dollar menu at McDonalds.
