I would actullay give this place a 3.5. You have to pick the right menu item. The pesto burger was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Ranch dressing made from scratch was good. Marina is sweet so depends on your preference. I would eat here again.
Tonight - terrible experience. My son's drink had ants crawling inside the syrofoam cup they served it in. Did not make scene, but afterwards spoke the owner who was not aware of what had happened. I was more upset with the fact to hear that ants are a problem - instead of simply apologizing and compensating the meal. A $100 meal - obviously worth more than reputation and word of mouth about service and care for customers. Will not go there nor recommend to anyone.
I decided to give Mama Mia's another chance. I ordered a carryout last week, after waiting on hold for 9 minutes, I called back. I ordered ravioli, normally this comes with a lot of cheese. The ravioli was floating around in A TON of sauce, like a soup, barely any cheese on top and it looked like the parley or whatever green they sprinkle on top was unloaded on my dish. The salad was in a cheap styrofoam container which is extremely unappetizing to eat from. I also noticed the salad dressing was in a much smaller container than it used to be. So basically, the prices increased, the service decreased and the quality of the food was disgusting.
About every time I visit family in Leavenworth, we eat here. Of all the restaurants in town, this is by far my favorite!! I always get the chicken parm. And love their salads!
Food was over priced for the quality. I ordered the chicken parmesan and the sauce was more of a soup. Everyone on the plate was soaked due to the sauce. Chicken was average. Salad was average. Garlic bread was bad.
