I have Celiac disease so eating out is always a bit scary. I was delighted to find that the chef at the Hays House is very experienced and familiar with Celiac. I also have multiple food allergies and Chef Ben oversaw the preparation of my food then came and sat with me to explain how they make sure there is no cross contamination. Wonderful! The food was perfectly prepared and delicious! Thank you Hays House!
Chicken was over cooked and tough, salad bar was a joke, prices were out of site for what you got, mashed potatos were skimpy and dark like they were yesterdays potatos. This will be my last visit to the Hays House Restaurant.. I would NOT recommend this the restaurant to my enemies let alone a friend..
The food was really greasy, the chicken was like rubber, (I think they use frozen chicken pattys), they gave my dessert to the wrong person and it was the last piece. The only good thing was the staff was very attentive.
Chicken Fried Steak was excellent with very attentive staff
