Walmart Supercenter

Id rather smash my face into the concrete than ever deal with the staff in this place again. If you call the place don't expect anyone to answer. When you do manage to talk to them, expect to be treated like a piece of shit. Don't expect them to actually know what the hell they're doing. Or punctuality with any online orders for that matter. Basically if you can get your stuff from literally anywhere else, then go there.
I called both Lafayette stores. The 1st one was completely rude and wouldn't even look for the item I wanted! The second said they didn't have time to look for the item (called back later and they said they didn't have it-even though it shows they do on-line) When I called the West Lafayette store I had 3 people working together to try to find out if it was in stock. They got the physical description of the product and actually went to see if they had it. I was on hold for a while, but when you are actually getting service that isn't an issue! *Teri is the kid who helped me. :)
Tried calling the store to get fax number; it's not on the website, which would be helpful. The person who answers the phone didn't have the number, so she transfered me to the service desk. The phone just rang & rang. I hung up and tried again. After the transfer, the phone rang several times, then went silent. So I tried a third time, and still no answer at the service desk! I am trying to fax a school supply list for THEIR customers to shop! Very frustrating when IF it was on their website & wouldn't need to call & not get the number after 3 attempts!
The WORST Walmart I've ever been to! The workers are ALWAYS rude, from the cashiers to the managers, the whole staff is disrespectful and not helpful. I always have problems returning things, apparently you can only return three things without a receipt in three months, so on my fourth attempt I came up "flagged" and was not able to return my PURCHASE with out a receipt (the manager FINALLY allowed me to after I caused a scene.) I understand this is to prevent theft, I used to work in Loss Prevention at the mall so I understand that. But the whole team at Walmart looked at me like I was a criminal when I tried to return my item without a receipt. Little do they know I'm almost done with my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. No, I didn't steal it I just have a crazy life and don't save my receipts! The whole situation was just irritating. Had Customer Service just tried to explain that it's to prevent theft and say that they weren't accusing me of theft and could call their manager and tell me that they understand I'm frustrated, I wouldn't have caused a scene. I would've just had my mom return it or something. Instead, I called their Loss Prevention officer/supervisor to explain that I felt really disrespected, by WALMART EMPLOYEES, no less (who are probably criminals themselves...) he was like "UH HUH, UH HUH, OKay." and basically just hung up the phone. I don't even like supporting corporate Walmart anyway, but now I'm really never going back!
They always have what the community wants and keeps me from driving to other side of town. West Lafayette should be thankful!
