I absolutely love this Payless! Although at times the cashiers can be less than welcoming, the store's sales and cleanliness make up for it. The fresh deli and bakery are truly great, and are kept up with. They offer a wide variety of things, and even put in a "cheese shop" this past June. The produce is almost always fresh! Plus, they added a Starbucks!
Dawn in the deli was wonderful with helping us get everything ordered and prepared for our daughters 1st birthday. All the produce was fresh and beautifully arranged to make for a great party spread - it was also ready on time and available right when we asked to pick it up! Thanks deli department and Dawn for making our party great.
Dawn at the bakery totally rocks!!! She has made several cakes for me. ALWAYS FRIENDLY, CHEERFUL, AND VERY, VERY HELPFUL!!!
This is only the second grocery store I have shopped at in West Lafayette; the other is WalMart. WalMart does not compare to Pay Less! Pay Less has a wonderful assortment of fresh meat and produce that puts WalMart to shame. Even if WalMart is closer to you drive the extra couple minutes to go to a real grocery store.
