I came to WL as a grad student. The first time I came to the shoppe I knew no one. Immediately, I was introduced to a number of gamers, all of them friendly. I had my pick of a number of RPGs and tabletop games to play. Although I've played 40K for about two decades, and there are 40K player's at the Shoppe, I decided to give Warmachine a go. The next week I had my first game and was playing in a league. Fantastic place. Plenty of friendly players, knowledgable staff, and most importantly, many tables and lots of tabletop terrain :) :)
