Yesterday we enjoyed a staff lunch at Thyme. The service was prompt, the atmosphere relaxing, an incredible view of Pretty Lake and best of all the food was great at reasonable pricing. We have also experienced evening dining on an excellent selection of fresh seafood without the first disappointment.
The renovations are very nice and the service was okay, though a bit slow with the server not knowing the answers to questions we asked about the food. A few of us in the group ordered fish entrees and shared them so that we could get a variety of different tastes. A short time after leaving the restaurant, three of us had stomach cramps and then suffered serious diarrhea. None of those afflicted had eaten anything prior to our meals at Thyme on Pretty Lake nor did we eat anything after leaving. We had a minimum of alcoholic beverages with our meals. I am certain the fish we ate was tainted, but since each fish dish was prepared with a lot of spices, herbs, vegetables and sauces, any bad flavor was concealed. I am horrified that a restaurant that boast of its cuisine would be so careless. We will never go back or advise anyone to go to Thyme on Pretty Lake
