Key West Shrimp House
Reviews

Absolutely LOVE this place!!!!! My two girl friends and I have been coming to Madison for seven years now for their annual arts and crafts festival. On our first trip, we discovered Key West Shrimp House and have not gone to any other restaurant when there. Servers and host/hostess (Cathy) are very friendly and attentive, food is wonderful and fresh and the bar service is fun and fast. There is always a wait, but rest assured, it will be well worth it. Go to the bar, get a beverage and then go outside and make new friends. We were just there this weekend and can't wait till next year!

Pricey but good service and food wife loves seafood good ride along the river.

Excellent service and menu choices! We had grilled fish and it was tasty. Smaller but very fresh salad bar with everything we needed to make a great salad ! We will be back !! Thank you !

Best seafood

Hostess was friendly, waitress was blah. Before ordering I asked waitress if cod was beer battered..she replied yes..it was not..it was bread crumbs. My cod was overdone, as you could see by the very dark deep fried bread crumbs..some being very dark. Fish was rubbery to chew, which tells me it was indeed overcooked. French fries were barely room temperature. I like fries fresh up and hot so they lost points right there; also, I like beer battered fish, that's why I asked before ordering, and it was not..so, again, more points lost. My husband had the lobster and baked potato which was also barely warm. Soup was good, warm, not hot. Salad bar ok, lettuce fresh, tomatoes not ripe, cucumbers soft, no crunch, no green peppers; ranch and bleu cheese were good. Bread would have been nice, they give you a toasted bread with seasoning on it..tasted like a huge cold crouton.
