605 Grille

Awesome food! Amazing warm brie salad, and a wonderful quiche. Burgers are good too. Would definitely eat here again.

I've eaten here several times, and the options are great- always something that you don't expect for a small town restaurant. The menu includes burgers, salads, and other unique dinner plates (including steaks, seafood, quiche, etc.), and prices range from about $12 - $28/entree. Lots of vegatarian options, plenty of organic and/or local foods make it on the seasonal menu. Fabulous craft beer selection that changes regularly (about $5/pint). Highly recommend for date night or a small group outing. Perfect for those new in town to get a glimpse of the great "downtown vibe" of Madison, IN.

I ate at 605 for the first time last week. I had the ribeye which was the best ribeye I have had in years. The food was excellent and the service was great as well. I would recommend 605 to anyone who really appreciates well prepared, fresh food. The ribeye is one of the most expensive options on the menu at about 28.00, but you can still get a burger and fries for around 12.00. The portions are large and the meat is locally raised and grain-fed. Everything is made from scratch and is very tasty!!

We waited almost an hour and half to receive burgers. The waitress never returned to refill our drinks. When the owner came over to ask how our meal was, rather than apologize for the awful service, she said her customers know that the kitchen is small and expect to stay for a long time and enjoy their meal. Seriously!...!! Did she really just tell us it was our fault that it took them 1 1/2 hours to make burgers!!!

Delicious meals, generous portions, great service!
