Papa's Grill is our favorite casual restaurant in Columbus, IN. My husband and I eat there at least 2-4 times a month. The food is great and reasonably priced. My husband's favorites are the Papa Burger, the Bison Burger, and the Buffalo Wing Wrap. I especially like the Grilled Salmon, the Bistro Top-End Chef Salad, and the Lemon Almond Chicken Salad. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and includes several who have been there for a long time and seem to enjoy working there. The restrooms are clean, and the ladies room even includes hand lotion, a nice touch. Papa's Grill is located just off Columbus's People Trail, so it's easy to walk or bike to on nice days.
The food is great. I'm especially fond of the cheese cubes. During a hoop game or football they are the app to eat. The homemade desserts change frequently and I can taste the love in those sweets. The staff is always friendly, and they pour beers to the rim of the glass. The bar patrons are usually cool. You should stop in and visit this family owned restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Oh and Dustin is King.
mediocre atmosphere, like a wannabe applebees minus the interesting crap on the walls. pretty dang good food, though, and excellent service, had a perfectly cooked bison Burger. close to the interstate was a bonus, highly recommended.
