very rude service. guy was arrogant and ignorant. called before going there and was told that there rate for oil change is $59.99. found coupon online so took that with me and asked if they owner that coupon. he said they do but with coupon rate will be $59.99 + tax. i said that was regular that you told me on phone. and thn he was like whatever i am telling you now its $69.99 + tax and with coupon of $10.00 off. what a great customer service! its scam so better watch out. if they cant owner rate thn i doubt what kind of service they will be doing when you trust them for your car service. in short going here will be totally use less and waste of money. who knows if they even do service or not. here is my answer to his great day after i drove off 20 minutes to get to this shitty place.
I went today for an oil change and for them to fix the gasket valve as it had oil burnt smell. I asked the clerk to let me watch what the technician was doing to make sure the issue is resolved, and it seem to me it is working well. At first it was smoking out of the muffler but as I drove today, the smoke disappear and it is reducing the oil burn smell. It is good place for the auto repair services if you need the car ASAP. Other locations are booked and wasn't available this week. So I'm glad I dropped in today!
I dont write review unless I am really pissed off. I went to Midas, columbus for brake pad change. They ripped me off. Advertised price say 89.99 including material and labor. My final bill was $200 because they will charge you for thousand other things. They were done in less than hour. I am not even sure if they did the work I payed for like rotor turning, caliper work. Will not ever go to them again.
They said that my tires had uneven wear because the front and rear struts were worn out and needed a replacement. They quoted $2000 for the repair. I took then my car to the dealer and they quoted only $1000 for the same service. The most interesting part is that the dealer checked the struts (of course after charging $100 of labor) and concluded that they were in perfect condition and did not need to be replaced. Had I not taken my car to the dealer, I would have spent $2000 in an unnecessary repair. I still lost the $100 for dealer labor to check the struts. It turned out that the tires had uneven wear because the alignment was off. I had the alignment done and got new tires and have not had problems since. Judge for yourself.
Came in half hour befor they closed with a bad shake in my truck when I braked. I would of understood if they would of told me to come back tomorrow cuz they couldn't get the work done by quitin time but they took me right in and got me fixed up. Couldn't have been happier.
