When we walked in there wasn't a sign saying to wait or to sit and no one to greet us so we just picked a table and began looking the menu over. Was wondering when we'd be noticed, but it only took a few minutes for the waitress to come over and serve us. She was super nice and made great recommendations. I ordered the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich and my husband ordered the 3-piece fried chicken with cole slaw. It took a while for the food (about 20-25 minutes) but they fry the chicken to order so we didn't mind waiting. Believe me, once the food came out the wait was worth it! My husband has not stopped raving about the chicken since--the meat wasn't dry and the skin wasn't soaked in grease. It was perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside. And the tenderloin had the perfect balance of breading-to-pork ratio, and the breading had a lot of rich flavor. We got apple pie to-go. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes. Seems like the kind of place where everything is made well! Oh, and you can't beat the price--fried chicken, pork tenderloin sandwich, he had iced tea, and two pieces of pie and it was only $22. Finding great places like this make a midwest girl like me wish I didn't live all the way in Hawaii.

Can't remember getting home! Looked in my bill fold, $130 tabs, food included and me buying a few rounds of Vegas Bombs, not bad!
