Is this place closed for good the grass is all grown up around the building
i dont know why any one could think it was to costly $8 for a custom built burger plus the bbq was Delicious.
I don't typically write reviews but when I saw the review below I decided I had to tell you about my experiance. My wife and I went there last Friday. It was FANTASTIC!!!! She had the pork chops, which she loved and I was lucky enough to get a bit of, and yes, they were really good. I had the baby back ribs, which were just the way I like them, just twist the bone and it comes right out. They make their own BBQ sauce (which is really good to) and they give generous portions so I will ask them to go light on the sauce and give me some on the side. It is a family owned business and I thought everyone was really nice and I enjoyed talking with them. They took really good care of us. My wife and myself look forward to our next visit.
Stopped in with a hungry family on the way home from Brookville Lake after a wedding on Saturday, August 28th. Seated immediately, almost no crowd. Drinks ordered before 8pm. Brought promptly. Dinners ordered right at 8pm. At 8:30, I asked if our food was getting close to being ready (my daughter is diabetic and timing is important) - and was told she would "be right back. At 8:50, I got up from the table and physically chased down the server who told me "it would be right out". With no other options at this point, the food finally arrived just after 9PM - without as much as an "I'm sorry" from the server (who I think may have been the owner as well?, don't know). The food was TERRIBLE - my chicken tenders were severely overcooked - the baked potato was inedible. The chicken sandwich for my daughter was the worst I have ever tasted. My wife's hamburger was RAW, not rare - or medium (as it was ordered). The mini barbeque burgers were dry and awful. This place doesn't deserve to have "The Mounds" associated with it's name in any way shape or form. I would give it a ZERO if I could, but this thing forces me to give it at least one star. By the way, it was expensive too.
