The Courier Cafe

This is one of my favorite cafes ever!!! I love the food, especially the burgers. The milkshakes and house fries are also a must when you eat there. The decor is very nice, the place is comfortable, and the service is great!

Took a little while but the food was good and pretty cheap. Courteous service and good portions as well. Got the pesto pita, tasty, although the pita was a little tough.

This is a great restaurant which is always packed! It reminds me of home with its southern-style dishes and cooking style, such as the fried chicken or fired okra. The decor is quaint but interesting. I always think of this place when my grandmother is in town, but beware of the wait at peak hours!

One of my favorite breakfast places in town. It's a very cozy environmental with classic breakfast items. However, they do have burgers and wraps if you're looking for something heartier.

I would actually rate this 4 1/2 stars. Reasonably priced, tasty food and breezy atmosphere. I've grown to love this little restaurant over the years, and have had many memorable times here. The "Ate after 8" deals are awesome, milkshakes are unmatched (especially peanut butter!), salad bar has a wide variety of ingredients and the breakfast menu is among the best quality for the price in the area. And of course the infamous burgers are totally satisfying, without being excessive. My only point of contention is the occasional flatness of demeanor of the waitstaff, which I've experienced a few times. But I understand waiting can be a super tiring job, and Courier has never subjected me to outright rudeness. So overall I would still highly recommend it.
