Cracked Pepper Catering
Reviews
Everyone was so helpful, easy ordering, no problems with delivery or set up. The food was excellent with a plentiful dessert tray. Price was very reasonable for the high quality-thanks to the Cracked Pepper team!
Wonderful food. Cracked Pepper has catered a few lunches for us and a breakfast. They have also provided pastries for several business breakfasts that I have hosted. Their pastries are out of this world (the bacon logs and scones and eclairs and ...). Their lunch menu is amazing (and I have never had anything I don't want to rave about). As far as catering, they have been on-time, food is always hot, and they bring everything we need to feed our employees and guests. If all restaurants were this good, I would need to exercise 4 hours a day just to keep the scale from breaking!
The bread was stale. $300.00 for a catered lunch, charged $25.00 for set up. HUH, he dropped it off and no set up. The pasta salad was horrible. Dry and all you could taste was this green stuff, which I have no idea what it was, and cheese. Sorry, but I would use someone like Avanti's for sandwiches. Their pasta salad is the best. Sorry I made the wrong decision. Threw a bunch of food out. The Italian Beef was good, and the desserts were good, but stale bread from a bakery??????
Wow, this place made me dislike them so much that I signed up for an account to review them! So disappointing. The boxed lunches are absolutely pathetic. There is no way that is "fresh baked wheat bread". Maybe baked fresh by the Wonder bread company, but certainly not by the restaurant. The Roast Beef sandwich had two slices of grocery store style roast beef, a slice of Kraft american cheese singles, 1/2 a piece of lettuce and the thinnest, tiniest two slices of tomato. It was the type of sandwich I would make at home for a quick lunch, about 2 minutes to throw the ingredients together - definitely not worth $8.50. I also received about 8 grapes, a bag of Lay's potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie that also did not taste "fresh baked". It tasted like an Auntie Ann's cookie that they took out of the cellophane - preservative-laden and over baked. Considering that a catering company has the potential to reach hundreds or thousands of new customers and bring them back based on the strength of their boxed lunch food, this was a truly ridiculous offering. I have no interest in trying their restaurant anymore.
The Cracked Pepper on Adams fulfilled a last minute birthday cake order for my daughter. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the cake is absolutely beautiful. We haven't tasted in yet but I know it will be delicious. Thank you for your excellent customer service!
