Elly's Tea And Coffee
Reviews

Love your sandwiches! I'm in love with your Chicken Sal sandwich w/cranberries and walnuts!!! ;) Luv it ALLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!

I come to Elly's nearly every morning and the staff is very friendly and already considers me a regular. I haven't tasted any of their products, as they're all gifts but the service is great! I'm always greeted with a smile and have shared several jokes with the staff and owner. I really recommend this place, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the patio overlooks the riverfront. Really a great place and great prices too!

I worked in a cafe/coffee shop for 3 years while attending university. Sandwiches and various other food items are unique and pretty good. Espresso is sub-par (it takes skill and training to understand the art of a great latte). There was no wait staff and it wasn't clear whether I was expected to bus my own table or just leave when finished. Management might know a lot about tea, but very little about coffee or customer service. While having a late lunch one afternoon with my father and grandmother, we were enjoying good atmosphere and conversation. As the time slipped by, the owner began bussing tables extremely noisily around us. She kept looking in at us and sighing from the other room. Finally she walked up to the table and in a frustrated tone said "I don't know if you know this, but we closed 20 minutes ago. There's a table right outside in the hall area you could sit at to talk." I about fell out of my chair. Haven't been back since.

You finally get tired of Muscatine and the downtown area and start to assume that all of the places are the same, and then you find this gem you didn't even think existed. Good tea, good coffee, good snacks and the Gelato is great. I work from my computer, and I try to stop in at least once a week now to take advantage of the view of the Muscatine and free WiFi. Really nice place more people should take advantage of.

A great place to go! (I do work there...) We have a beautiful 4 season sunroom/dining room with a stellar view of the Mississippi River available for customers. We have a full service espresso bar with all fair-trade Intelligentsia Coffee and over 30 kinds of teas from Upton Tea. We offer many breakfast and lunch items with excellent, homemade desserts. Business hours are Monday 7am-4pm; Tuesday - Friday 7am-6pm; Saturday 8am-4pm; closed Sunday.
