You know - I am sick and tired of people giving Chinese buffet restaurants such a bad rap! I am not saying one of the reviewer's boyfriend didn't get a bacterial infection but it probably didn't come from Lucky Buffet. As a former Food Services Director (for ten years) - food borne illness DOES NOT just happen to one, two or even three persons who eat at a restaurant - it happens to a MAJORITY of those who ate a particular dish, during a particular time. My wife and I have eaten at Lucky Buffet on many occasions have have NEVER gotten sick. We like their prices and menu and will continue to eat there. If any believe I am some 'plant' from the owners of this establishment, visit me on Facebook at Brian D. Dale. This reviewer also said "They (staff) wore sweat pants and tennis shoes." SO WHAT! One of the benefits of business ownership (as is true with me) is you can wear whatever you want. WE, the business owner(s) (as with Lucky Buffet) define what IS and IS NOT appropriate at our company. I am not bad mouthing employees but most of you have been brain-washed by your employers in these areas. Just because it is right for your employer's requirements - doesn't mean THOSE rules apply everywhere.
My boyfriend got a bacterial infection hours after he ate here. He was throwing up all night, after he only ate Chinese. Took a bite of the chicken & broccoli and spit it right out because it tasted funny and was rubbery. I did not eat any Chinese food. The other food was pretty good. Food was always up kept. What really upset me was that the host was wearing SWEATPANTS, TENNIS SHOES, and a T-SHIRT. Will not come again.
7 to 10 old dishes, no sea food, only crab sticks from Walmart
