monks, is one of my top 5 places to enjoy time with family and friends, I love the diversity n different cultures, talents n personalities. amazing place to enjoy a cup of Joe or a nice cold beer. N the owner is simply adorable my she knows customer service.. love love love it.......CLG
Great atmosphere for younger people. A grand selection of beer to choose from. Friendly and helpful employees who actually knew about the beer they had. Everyone there was really chill and drinks were fairly priced. Definitely recommend if bored on the weekend or even weeknight.

Monk's Kaffee Pub is one of my favorite local hangouts. Start your morning with an espresso or a hot rooibos tea. Bring your lunch and pick up an Izze soda. Then come back after work and indulge in their wide variety of beer and whiskey (they have other alcohol as well, but I highly suggest the beer and whiskey!) Their "main" floor consists of the bar, two rooms with seating and two bathrooms. Head to the basement for the game room (bumper pool!) and another room where you'll find live music. On off nights, I've found it to be fairly quiet in the basement.
