This lil place is a hidden gem. Nice ambiance. Chicken kiev is delicious as is the raspberry white cake.
Wonderful lunch! Here is a local, family owned gem! The food is delightful, excellent service (family member for at least one, probably more in the kitchen), instant service (small place so service shouldn't be any problem, and it isn't). I also saw views of the kitchen as folks went in and out, and the kitchen is neat as a pin. They have photos and a menu posted on line (in case you haven't already seen it). Personally, I don't think the photos of the food do the food justice. I thought food looked much better in person! It's a bit out of the way to find, but I certainly think it's worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back and I just got home! LOL!! I didn't even mention their speciality coffees and nice selection of wines and beers. Cost...two of us with desert was $25.00 without tip or drinks. I will say one thing; if you're a burger joint person, you probably find this place to be just "okay", but if you like tasty food with complex flavors and freshly prepared right in their kitchen, you'll think the few extra dollars is cheap. ...And by the way, the deserts are as good as the entrees and sandwiches. Enjoy!!
Great food and service for Dubuque.
We had an apple strudel, waffles and an omelette all of which were very good.
