Kauai Pasta

Not Gluten Free. My daughter is celiac and ordered a GF meal and had a serious reaction. We know it can happen and are very careful with her food and especially where we eat. Even though we were very specific and repeatedly mentioned her gluten intolerance (1) when making the reservation, (2) as we came into the restaurant, and (3) with the waiter 4 or 5 times, there must have been a cross contamination. Even though the rest of the food was good, the waiter and staff friendly - my daughter is having a serious gluten reaction and I have to rate the restaurant poorly because we don't feel that you can trust their GF meals.

One of the best places to eat in Kauai. They also have some beautiful oil paintings in their second dining room.

We tried crab cake, margherita pizza and truffle parmesan fries. Crab cake was okay (not chunky with an italian twist). Pizza was not baked well, dough was too soft. Parmesan fries was too fatty, and we do not recommend it at all. The service and the ambient was good.

Love this place. Either for lunch or late dinner, Kauai Pasta in Kapaa always comes through. One of the best lounges on the Island, this place has a very well stocked bar, friendly and efficient service and a good menu. If you are looking for a casual get together with friends, romantic dinner or just a place to enjoy a quality meal, I definitely recommend KP. My favorite dish for a while now has been the Butternut Squash Ravioli, which is on special for their dinner menu. Their macaroni and cheese are to die for and they come with their amazing steak (marinated in their daily special sauce). Lunch options are great for under $15, you can combine pasta dish with one of the means, salads or soups. Overall great value, experience and atmosphere.

Alfredo and pesto sauces were fantastic. Grilled chicken seasoned perfectly.
