Had a wonderful meal with French onion soup and Osso Bucco. My wife had a spinach salad and the duck. We had the Chocolate Marnier mousse cake dish that was very good. Would recommend it again.
A bit hit or miss. Can walk there, but oddly don't wind up there very often
The food was great. We travel all over the world and eat in some very nice restaurants. This was a gem in Kona, which has very few nice restaurants to begin with. I will come back to La Bourgogne every time we're in Kona and I'll recommend it to all my friends. If it were not for these reviews I would have never considered this place since it's not much to look at from the road and even when you walk in the door and see the modest surrounds of the 10 table restaurant. If you're looking for atmosphere then this is not the place... It's all about the food! Oh, and bring a big wallet as it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
