We never actually ate there. When we walked in, the room was so thick with cigarette smoke, we immediately turned and walked back out.
I've eaten there twice. Summer 2012- tried 'em out because my original destination down the street was 'closed for repairs'. Observations- 1) menus are delivered inside album cover sleeves, a nice artistic touch. 2) the food was better than expected. Second visit was fall 2012- they're taking off. Lots more customers and service was a little slower (but still acceptable). It's the kind of place I like to take folks that enjoy music.
The might just be the worst bar I have ever been too. The bartender forgot my drink order, I'm one of 5 sitting at the bar, they played horrible screaming music. It's 10 pm on a Monday and high schoolers are hanging out. The cook/ manager is sitting at a table smoking and drinking. First and last visit to this bar. Hope you make it a year.
