My wife, another couple & I came down from Dahlonega a couple of weeks ago for dinner on a Saturday. We were greeted and seated in minutes. The service was great and I am in the public sales and service business, this was a 10 out of 10! Bianca was our server, she was not only polite, but very FRIENDLY... Hints the name of the restaurant is Friends... Well, to top it all off, the other couple with us were from Cleveland Georgia over 45 minutes away, they also said that this was the best service and the food was GREAT! Keep up the good job y'all at Friends Dawsonville, Ga. John Duke

I go here often for dinner since it is on my way home. The food is usually pretty good. I noticed that on Monday's they have free kids meals with purchase of an adult entree and beverage, so I stopped by last Monday with my 3-year old son. I ordered an entree and a draught beer and I told the waitress I wanted to order a kids cheeseburger meal for my son. When the bill came, I asked the waitress why the kids meal was still on the bill. So, she went and came back and said that the kids meal is only free when an entree and non-alcoholic beverage is purchased. (It stated this nowhere in all the promotions they have for the free kids meal.) I told her to add a sweet tea to it then, so I could still get the free kids meal. Then, what I assume is a manager came back and told me, I didn't order a kids meal, so there wasn't one to take off the bill. When I told him that I told the waitress I wanted a kids cheeseburger meal, he said "We don't have a kids cheeseburger meal. We only have the cheesy burger entree which is what you ordered." I tried to explain to him that I wouldn't order a full entree for my 3-year old and that the waitress never told me there wasn't a "Kids" cheeseburger meal when placing my order, but it fell of deaf ears. I've worked in food and beverage for many years in my life and this experience was not handled properly by Friends Grill. For this reason, I will not return to any of their locations. Finally, I've tried searching the website for them and there is no "Contact Us' section so that customers can voice their concerns to management. Obviously, it doesn't matter...

Friends has a wonderful staff, thought out menu choices, outstanding mixologists, and caring management. The decor is standard but inviting. A great place to watch games or to enjoy a nice family sit down. I've always enjoyed my experience. They even host UFC ppv that's always a blast. Trivia on Thursdays is fun too!

Good food...Good Time...A Little pricy

The best way to describe Friends is "eh". The decor is typical of a "Family Friendly" sports bar. Goofy signs and football jerseys. The food is above average and pretty expensive for what you get. The best thing on the menu are the wings. Boneless or bone-in. The selection of flavors is rather outstanding. They feature good quality beer (not just Bud and bud light like most places) but the real problem with friends is the staff. If you need drink refills or any kind of help at all. GOOD LUCK! I have been to this restaurant many times and have always been ignored. also, The young women wearing ungodly short shorts.(fine by me) But the plus size waitresses wearing the Daisy Duke shorts....Cringe worthy.... But since the choices in the Dawsonville area are rather narrow. I will continue to eat here... (I hope a Buffalo Wild Wings opens up near by...)
