Grapes & Beans
Reviews
I attend events at THE MOUNTAIN RETREAT CENTER just north of the GA state line two or three times a year, and after discovering the Grapes & Beans by way of a recommendation I make it a point to stop there every time i'm in the area. It is a nice friendly place to rest after the long trip from Auburn, Alabama and before ascending the last 10 miles the the top of the mountain.
Great place a few blocks off the main road.
I love the gyro. They have a good selection of wines and very pleasant staff. The deck out back is our favorite place to eat.
Recently moved to the area and was excited to find an eclectic coffee/lunch place to spend my money and time in. Went in today with the intention of getting a couple of hours of studying done, drinking a latte, and having lunch. Within 10 minutes of sitting down with my latte and books one of the owners immediately came up to me and explained that I would have to move soon because I was taking up entirely too much space and they "do not offer wi-fi here". I was both embarrassed and appalled considering I was the only one in the restaurant and I had planned on eating lunch. I had been hopeful that this would be my go to study/lunch time place and I will sadly never be returning due to their complete disregard for customer service and human decency.
