If you like being at a club with roaches crawling all over, bartenders that are so lazy you have to call the club to get a drink, strippers that come out of the back with fresh track marks, listening to and unfortunately catching a glimpse of a stripper screwing a customer in the back room, THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR YOU! Make sure you get your shots updated and tested for STD's after you leave.
The Matador club was a rockin' place back in the mid-70's. It was the unofficial junior enlisted club because E1 through E3s couldn't get into the Eglin NCO club. Had many a good drunk and a bar fight or two there. Sometimes the place was topless and other times it was full nude. Just depended on how long it had been off limits to military personnel. The girls were always fun to party with. I went back in the mid-90s and it was a shell of it's former self. The dancers had way too many tattoos and their attitudes were intolerable. The clown at the door acted like we were bothering him. It sounds like it hasn't gotten any better. Just another great strip joint ruined by a jerk owner.
I remember when I first was in this club. Southern Hospitality, no jerks, and best of all CHARITY. I will never forget what people did for me there.
