Blue Water Bay

Entered at the door marked dining room. No one was there to give any info. Finally a server wanders over and says sit wherever you want. All the small tables were taken, so my husband and I sat at a table designed to serve 6 to 8 people. Another server wanders over and says we can't sit there, this table saved for larger crowds. Leaves without finding us a table. My husband goes to next dining room and finds a small table. Foodwise, I ordered grouper over rice pilaf with "Creole sauce". When it came I thought the server had brought the wrong meal. Could not even see the grouper. Server says they put on a lot of Creole sauce. About 4-6 oz of grouper (which was quite good) was buried under a tomatoey concoction of squash chunks and large roasted garlic cloves. My husband's grouper sandwich had more bun than grouper (another small serving). The table next to us had leftover dishes from previous diners that remained there the entire time we ate. Our server never offered to refill our glasses. We were there a while back, and experience was better. So if you go, make sure to ask what the sauce is made of, and sit at the appropriate sized table.
Tasty, unique menu, made to order so expect to wait. Wish I would have sat in the lounge booths, very nice atmosphere
As good as it gets. Friendly staff/service, GREAT food, and an impressive wine selection/bar. When there's an important occasion, the Blue Water Bay is on the top of my list. This is my absolutely favorite restaurant-- not just in the North Florida area-- simply my favorite restaurant.
Had an amazing experience eating here. the food and service was great. If you ever get the chance to eat here I highly suggest it.
The food is very good & the atmosphere is nice but the food is overpriced & the service is very slow. We spent a lot of time waiting. For the price, I expected a lot more food.
