The Barn Antiques
Reviews
Beautiful antiques and stained glass. Definitely not the place to go if your looking to keep low cost. Tourist watering hole.
Every time I visit the Barn it's a wonderful experience! This destination antique store has several rooms containing unique, high-end, European antiques. Every piece is hand picked with care and priced at a fair rate. The selection of stain glass is incredible - beautiful designs and perfectly preserved. In every corner there a fine armoire, desk, or dining set. Luckily, there's a large gift store and restaurant right there so I can easily take the whole day every time I visit. Also, I always receive personalized attention (and even decorating suggestions!) from the friendly staff. I recently bought a set of high-quality 20th century chairs that fit in perfectly with my living room decor. They are incredibly well-persevered and unique. Every time, the buying experience was exciting and pleasant. I will certainly keep going back - the drive 70 mile drive is totally worth it.
The Barn is absolutely incredible. The selection of antiques here is astounding, and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. You will find yourself in a truly amazing collection of some of the finest antiques around. The staff takes several buying trips throughout the year to England where they hand select antiques to bring back. These are quality pieces priced to sell fast. There is a something for everyone here (I particularly enjoyed the stained glass selection), and I wouldn't be surprised if the staff knows the story behind each individual piece. You might as well stop by the restaurant and grab lunch too!
Lots of "stunner" antiques better than I've ever seen! Huge selection with a noted emphasis on furniture. Large pieces, small pieces and even old tools. I've never been in and not found something I have to have. I drive from north Florida to come to The Barn, because no where else has the selection or prices they have. They are closed from May until October because they go on a long buying trip, but they buy in England while they're open too. Ill be there in October enjoying the antiques while my wife looks at the gift shop.
My experience at The Barn was wonderful. A friend told me about this place and after my first visit I have returned every chance I get. I have done a bit of antiquing in my day, but have never seen such a vast selection of true antiques and with such great prices (I don't think I could negotiate anyone else down to The Barn's prices). The pieces I've bought have ranged in size, but the staff will wrap, tie and load anything you buy into your car or truck for free. Also, the owner travels around England hand selecting the pieces they sell and always seems happy to answer any questions about pieces I'm interested in. I strongly suggest you visit!
