A true legend of the Keys! Fantastic food, great live music and amazing vibe. A must visit before you die experience. I would love to just eat, drink, party, pass out and repeat there for a week straight! Very cool place indeed.
I'm a local. About 30 minutes away. If you want a beer on the way to the Keys this is the place for you. Don't bother ordering the food. Fish is dry (probably from the freezer) and all the fried food is bland and over done. The wait was 1 hour this time but a beer will take care of that. For a local on the water place I much prefer Black Point Marina. They also have live music, great view and most importantly Great Fresh Food! I also like how they jack up their review by anonymous Google User. See reviews below.
I have visited Alabama Jacks on several occasions and find that each wonderful experience exceeds my expectations. Having tasted conch fritters from Miami to Key West, AJ's have always been my favorite. Keep up the good work and I will keep stopping in!

No matter the food... No matter the atmosphere... No matter the price, there is always someone that complains. But it is seldom a local, but some visitor from afar that would complain if every dish was served on a solid gold platter, no charge, and a bonus of a thousand dollars just for stopping in.
