Boulevard Traven is owned and operated by the same people that own/operate Boulevard Deli next door. They share the same kitchen. The Tavern has distinct styling away from the Deli and its own style of food. Also different is at the Tavern you have full sit down service. There is also a covered outside seating area where it merges space with the Deli. There are TVs outside so watching sports is an almost definite during season. From time to time the smoke outside can get thick, but they've done a good job managing it with installing fans. The food inside the tavern is about what you would expect, burgers, fries, wings, etc. And a lot of beer. I've been there a couple times and enjoyed the food every time. The service has always been good and the atmosphere is nice. This is a great non-chain establishment.
Back @ Boulevard... had Pretzel Sticks...great, soft, not doughy and just right amount salt. Served with honey mustard which was great. The Fenway Flatbread was very good. Finally Chicken Tacos were very tasty, however I suspect the salsa was from jar-Pace Picante. Homemade would have scored 5 stars. Draft beer was nice and cold. Overall 4.5 Stars.
Ordered pizza and wings both were outstanding. Had a draft beer which was very cold. My husband agreed we'll be coming back soon. We're anxious to come back and try the Philly cheese steak sandwich and nachos. Stay tuned for next update.
Boulevard tavern is great place to bring your family and enjoy professional servers that will attend you, Bobbies burger is my favorite I add bacon, extremely affordable.
Great pizza & nachos and an awesome atmosphere. We come here all the time--it's our favorite local place to eat.
