MAR MONTES - March 11, 2015

My husband and I like the casino cruise. We have gone 10 times....If you just want a ride on the ocean and have a few drinks and enjoy the day go. If you like to gamble its a plus. I have never won and hope to someday. The food at the buffet should be explored a bit to a more fine dining experience. But its edible. I love eating a la carte...food is good. The music is fun and everything has always been safe... I just love the Victory Casino Cruise and always take my friends who come to visit Florida....

This casino don't give any money odds. been here several times always lost money. slots are horrible and cards are worse. I think they take out the tens for blackjack. staff is unprofessional they pick and choose who they frisk. discrimination. security staff are unprofessional idiots. if you want to lose money come to this boat. let me elaborate on the discrimination I always get frisk. I literally watched other people go through the scanners and never get frisked. I hope victory understands this is discrimination. because the people getting through are white or very old. its not right. treat everyone the same old everyone could be a criminal. I felt very disrespected. the idiot frisking me almost kicked me out. only reason I didn't tell him off because I was with my 81 year old mother. then he takes His time. makes me take off my belt what the hell. I watch for 20 minutes never seen him make someone take there belt completely off. very easy being a tough guy when you have so many body guards around you. I would never come to this casino again. my mom never wins on slots. there a reason gambling illegal. it should be. by the way idiot rent a cop name is SHANE. if you see him please mention how rude and prejudice I know he is. Another comment this idiot tells me if I don't want to be frisked don't come. That very good customer service. He should not be the first point of contact I tell you that.

My husband and I went Friday Jan. 16 2015. The website stated that it would be smooth sailing. OMG where did they get that from. It was the rockiest sail I have ever been on. I got severely sick. We also ate there. The food was absolutley NASTY! It was old and they give portions size of a child. Now I have to say I took one of their sea sick pills and had a reaction. The medic on duty was awesome. He was the ONLY staff member that I didnt see walking and texting or checking their phones. NOT one time did a waitress come to me for a drink. NOW they were all walking around checking phones but none asking to buy drinks. I was disappointed .. I will go back however I will NOT do the meal package. Food is NOT worth 20 bucks a person... And I will make sure I check the seas myself with the coast guard before I make my plans....Ohh this was a Jacksonville one. I couldnt find the review area for them. And there was NO live music or entertaiment at all........ NONE!

First timer on this one; was somewhat a regular on another in Palm Beach. Had no great expectations, just went to do the "meet and greet" Bowzer of Sha Na Na for whom I was bodyguard over forty years ago. Enjoyed the shows with Rocky and the Rollers, then the later event featuring Bowzer, Johnny C and The Sting Rays. Had time to "catch up" with stories from back in the day. As for meal time, nothing much to crow about, but it sufficed. I went to Sports Book, played the points on a few ball games, and wasn't into much else. $25 for boat, meal and shows is a bargain. Easy to get to, easy parking, easy exit,...for me to travel regularly though, maybe for special events.

This was my first time on this cruise. Used a Groupon and had higher expectations. If you only want to gamble then this won't be a bad move. However don't expect any other type of entertainment because there won't be any. The food is generic, just sandwiches and burgers (finger food). Well I went on a Sunday and was told this was the slowest day, Saturdays are the days when the ship is packed. The worst part of the experience is that the ship was COLD! Everyone was complaining about it. I would only recommended this if you only care about gambling.
