There are no longer any traditional Greek deli's close to my office and I was hankering for a Gyro. I spotted Lebanese Cuisine advertising a Gyro item. They have a picture of traditional pork/veal spit so I thought I would try it. First, she wrote my tab listing a beef Gyro. OK, never had beef as the choice of Gyro meat. The other ingredients were traditional. I will eat up anything I order. If this were a vegetable Gyro it would have tasted great but... I chose not to finish my order with the beef/ vegetable combo. I don't think this was traditional steak. The beef had a consistency of a steakum sandwich and I feel it ruined the wrap. To be fair their dishes are largely vegetarian. Falafel, Hummus and Baba Ghannouj are mainstays. The combination of fresh vegetables, sauce had good flavor and the pita bread was fresh and tasty. This was an Levantine Arab version of a Gyro so I must temper this review as Shawarma would be an acquired taste for me. I will try something different next time and update this review accordingly. The third star is because they stock fresh tradition Lebanese market item's for sale on-site.
Delicious, authentic food
This is the most authentic, fresh, delicious Mediterranean food I have found... The owner is nice. I just loved the chicken Kebab , Tauboulli etc Aneez
