Mona Lisa Fondue Restaurant
Reviews
Worst experience for new years!!! If you want to pay 120$ for 4 shrimp and a small ROCK lobster tail and a couple of pieces of fish BETWEEN 2 PEOPLE then please throw your money away. Food is mediocre at best and they ripped off the fontina fondue recipe from La Baguette. The staff was very rude and lied about the price of the meal....needless to say we will never go back and we are letting everyone know what a lousy restaurant this is~ 157$ bill so bring your wallet and a small appetite we even tried talking to the manager and she clearly didnt care about customer service!!
Food was great! And service was great! The restaurant had great ambiance and the tables were pretty private as well (i.e. not crowded seating). All around wonderful restaurant.
I've lived in CO for 5 years and just tried this place for the first time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Great atmosphere, good for a "romantic" evening. Wait staff are terrific, very accommodating. I had a LivingSocial and they extended a week due to bad weather and not being able to make prior reservations. So, thank you!!! Fondue = amazing! We had the southwest cheese and oreo fondue, wow. I'm not a huge cook-your-own-meat person, but I'm not going to give a bad rating on that because that's how fondue places work. Definitely worth going for wine, cheese and chocolate!
Review changed from Not great to Liked it. I was there recently (November 30, 2013 at 5:00 pm) with my reading club (there were 7 of us) for our annual dinner. When we paid our bill, our server mentioned there was a promotion of $10 worth of gift card for every $100 spent on dinner. Our bill was for over $400, so our server stated the card was set for $40. It had $50 written on the back. I was planning to go to the wine cellar later this week and was going to use the card but decided to check on the balance. It's been in my billfold since 30 November and it had a $0 balance. Pretty lame. My friends and I have enjoyed relaxing at the wine cellar in the past, but I won't be back to Mona Lisa again. One of the other reviewers had it right. They don't understand the gift card concept... I recant my initial statement. After sending an email of my experience with the gift card, the manager contacted me directly and ratified the issue. Apparently, their gift cards are gift/reward cards. The promotion is a rewards promotion and my card does have the reward points valued at the amount awarded. There is still an issue that the recipient has no ware to know whether the card is gift or reward. When confirming a balance with the card management company you have to specify checking for rewards vs gift card balance.
This is my wife and I's favorite date night restaurant. I would say most romantic in the Springs!
