I just walked in off the street and requested a guide for the following day. I showed up the next day and, to my surprise due to the short notice, Dan & Marian sent me out with a seasoned veteran, Doug Crinklaw. Doug was very informative and has forgotten more than I will ever know about flyfishing. I had the best day flyfishing ever! I'd tell you where we went, but that is probably a secret. See you next year unless I can break away early in the fall!
When fly fishing in the Lake City, CO area, the most important stop you can make is Dan's Fly Fishing Shop. Dan and Marian are most knowledgeable and give the best and current information regarding fish, flies, and rivers/streams. I have stopped there for two years now and am always impressed with their welcome and service.
