Over-priced really small portions of food with nothing special at all. Excellent service though; wish food was as good. Homemade is a overrated sales pitch and this place is the living proof of it.
Baby Backs were great service as well If you stop at the Visiteor Center it is a short walk.
ABSOLUTELY AMAAAAAZING!!!! The BEST BBQ ever! 2 people can eat for $30. Baked beans are to die for, ribs are perfect, smoked pork and beef are so tender with just the right amount smoked taste, wonderful sauce and the friendliest wait staff!! I wish I didn't live in WI I would eat here everyday! We actually decided to sleep in just so we could eat again here the next day!
I recognize that BBQ is a very subjective topic, but after a long motorcycle ride, finding this place close to the motel was a Godsend! I had the Baby Back ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and tasty. I'm a mild sauce guy, and theirs was perfect. The slaw was good and the beans were what I've always thought great BBQ beans should be: not oversauced, not too chewy, but not mushy. Bits of pork in the beans added to their appeal. Tasty! The service was attentive without being cloying, and when I can have a good BBQ meal with a glass of Fat Tire and be out less than $15, I'm in heaven. I wish they had a presence closer to home. I'm not normally a "plate cleaner," but at Rib City, I cleaned my plate!
It will be hard to find better BBQ then this, even in Texas!
